You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth
I really enjoyed taking part in my first Living Arrows link up last week. It is an ideal way to record family memories so I’ve decided it’s something I will continue to do weekly.
This week saw a new arrival to the family, our new kitten we’ve named Boo.I think pets are a great way to teach children about empathy, kindness, responsibility and they bring with them many fond memories of childhood.
We already have one cat in the family, Prinny, she’s eleven now and I had noticed she’s been a little more lethargic in recent months and as she refuses to leave the house other than us she’s short on stimulation so when my sisters cat had kittens and she asked if I wanted one I felt the time was right and jumped at the chance.
We are all a little besotted with Boo already, our 11 year old cat Prinny not so impressed but she’s been Ok and we’ve been extra attentive to her to ensure she feels Ok about the new arrival. It’s so lovely watching the developing bond between the boys and Boo, they adore her.
